SWAT started its activity in 2008, when a group of Spanish businessmen became fully aware of the serious financial crisis that the markets were suffering, and which in turn caused the internationalization of national companies. Migration to developing countries and emerging economies represents an added risk when operating, a situation that sometimes undermines the productivity of workers and negatively affects the performance of companies.

After the foundation of SWAT the company expanded into the maritime security sector in 2010, beginning to offer Armed Guard Services throughout the world. As part of its international expansion, SWAT Shipping & Trading was formed in 2012, increasing its presence in the commercial vessel and private armed security services market. In 2018, SWAT became independent and continued its drive to offer integrated security services worldwide.

SWAT is a business group dedicated to Multidisciplinary International Security, offering the client a global service that ranges from the intelligence report prior to the establishment of the company in a country, to the organization of the device that the client approves as deemed necessary.
